Bullet
Frances asked me to put in a death notice for her dog friend
Bullet, who died after a long period of failing health. Bullet
had just moved back to her home base in New Mexico from suburban
Chicago. Found in Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, she enjoyed a
happy and peripatetic life with her owner, Bernice, for 13 years.
She leaves behind two canine companions, Lacey and Sage.

The date has been set for the Annual All-Breed, Non-Breed
Williamsburg Greenpoint Dog Show and Parade. It's September 21, a
Sunday, moved up this year to take advantage of milder late
summer weather. There are plans for giant and not so giant
floats--we hope local artists will lend their creativity to the
effort--and a marching band. Costume consultations will be
available at the B.Q.E. for dogs who want to dress up!
